Bio
Katherine Wen is an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University in the Department of Medicine, Health, and Society and Program in Public Policy Studies. Wen received her undergraduate degree in economics from Bowdoin College and graduated from Cornell University with a doctoral degree in policy analysis and management. She has expertise in conducting economic analyses with a range of data sources including health insurance claims, pharmacy claims, and survey records. Her current research focuses on health policy evaluation and issues related to paid sick leave and vaccines.
