Sugy Choi is an assistant professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department of Population Health. Her research focuses on gender and racial disparities, expanding access to addiction and mental health treatment. Committed to addressing healthcare disparities, she aims to make meaningful contributions to public health research and policy by reducing stigma, understanding gender differences, exploring interactions between substance use and comorbidities, leveraging data science, and developing personalized interventions informed by lived experiences.
