Bio
Bryan Garner is an experimental psychologist who is passionate about improving population health by developing and testing effective and cost-effective strategies for disseminating, implementing, and sustaining evidence-based practices within real-world settings. To date, Garner and his team have provided rigorous experimental evidence supporting the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of two promising strategies. One strategy is the Implementation and Sustainment Facilitation (ISF) Strategy, which was shown to be effective and cost-effective for improving the implementation of an evidence-based substance use disorder intervention within HIV service organizations. The second is a strategy called pay-for-performance, which was shown to be effective and cost-effective for improving the implementation of a substance use disorder intervention within adolescent treatment settings.
