Daniel J. Feaster is a professor within the Biostatistics Division of the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has over 30 years of experience in design, implementation and analysis of large longitudinal studies, including clinical trials for people living with HIV, people who use drugs and persons with mental health concerns. Feaster has experience in trials that focus on individuals, families, and the community such as the HEALing Communities Study. He has been the statistician on numerous federally funded projects, including center grants, RO1s, cooperative agreements and multi-site trials. Feaster has expertise in multi-level (also known as hierarchical linear) modeling, structural equation modeling and extensive experience with longitudinal analysis and methods for handling missing data. He also is interested in methods to predict individual-level response to interventions.
