Bio
Ellen Donnelly is an associate professor of sociology and criminal justice at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on estimating the impacts of justice reform in the U.S. criminal legal system. She has been involved in projects supported by the National Institute of Justice, U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance, Delaware Clinical and Translational Research ACCEL Program, and other state and local government agencies. Her recent work has examined substance use and mental health deflection initiatives. She received a joint PhD in political science and criminology from the University of Pennsylvania.
