Elsie Wong is a communications intern within the Division of Comparative Effectiveness and Outcomes Research of the Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine. She will assist with promoting new research published by the Center for Health Economics of Treatment Interventions for Substance Use Disorders, HCV, and HIV. Elsie is currently attending Stony Brook University and working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a specialization in interdisciplinary biology and a minor in chemistry.
With a background in medicine and communications, Elsie aspires to become a physician to improve health literacy among immigrant populations. Her end goal is to become a primary care pediatrician to cultivate a greater understanding of mental, social, and physical health in underserved communities.
