Emanuel Krebs is a health economist specializing in econometric and model-based approaches for informing evidence-based policy decisions to improve public health. His current research focuses on quantifying the public health impact and cost-effectiveness of different HIV prevention and treatment combination strategies to help prioritize allocation of resources, as well as estimating the health benefits and cost savings associated with the treatment of opioid use disorder. He received his master’s degree in economics at Simon Fraser University.
