Erminia (Mimi) Fardone is an assistant scientist in the Department of Public Health Sciences – Division of Health Services Research and Policy at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Fardone is a neurobiologist and public health scientist. She holds a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Life Sciences from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. Her work involves providing research and administrative support for various projects, primarily focusing on economic evaluations—such as cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analyses—of prevention and treatment strategies for people with substance use disorders.
