Bio
Hana Zwick is a research data analyst within the Syndemics Lab at Boston Medical Center. Her work includes statistical modeling of people with high-risk opioid use in order to identify effective and cost-effective interventions or strategies to help reduce the burden of the overdose epidemic, as well as the dissemination of results. She received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and international business from Eckerd College and a Master of Science in global health from Duke University where she focused on infectious disease epidemiology and conducted both quantitative and qualitative research. Her previous public health work experience ranges from local to global, as she has held positions as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a research assistant at a county-level health department, and a Peace Corps volunteer serving in Madagascar.
