Kathryn McCollister serves as the CHERISH Methodology Core Director, where she leads the application of innovative economic evaluation methods and development of tools to inform substance use disorder treatment and HCV/HIV care. McCollister is currently the Chair of the Department of Public Health Sciences (interim), professor of health economics, and director of the Division of Health Services Research and Policy at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. McCollister’s research uses cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit principles to evaluate prevention and treatment interventions for individuals including vulnerable and criminal justice populations with substance use disorders.
