Linda Sprague Martinez serves as a co-investigator in the CHERISH Population Data & Modeling Core, where she advises on Delphi implementation methods as well as planning efforts and protocols related to population-level outcomes and social determinants of health, conducts qualitative analyses, and contributes to scholarly and policy dissemination.
Dr. Sprague Martinez is professor in the departments of medicine and public health sciences at the University of Connecticut’s School of Medicine and directs the Health Disparities Institute at UConn Health. She has expertise in health equity and the social determinants of health; community based participatory research approaches; photovoice; community assessment and mobilization; and qualitative research methods and analyses. In 2023, she received the NIH HEAL Director’s Award for Community Partnerships.
