Bio
Stavroula A. Chrysanthopoulou, PhD, is an assistant professor of biostatistics and director of AM/ScM Programs in biostatistics at Brown University School of Public Health. She has expertise in complex simulation models used for public health decision making, with emphasis on statistical approaches for developing, evaluating, and results dissemination of these models. She has several interdisciplinary collaborations for developing cohort-simulation, microsimulation, and agent-based models with applications to opioid use disorder crisis, HIV, COVID-19, and cancer. Dr. Chrysanthopoulou also has extensive teaching experience with various graduate-level courses in biostatistics, including survival, longitudinal and multivariate data analysis, generalized linear models, and simulation studies.
