Bio
Xiao Zang is an assistant professor at the Division of Health Policy and Management at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Zang’s research primarily focuses on the prevention and treatment for HIV/AIDS and opioid overdose fatality using simulation modeling methods. He has extensive experiences in simulation modeling, model calibration and cost-effectiveness analysis and has developed and applied diverse modeling approaches in evaluating various public health interventions and their health equity impacts. Aside from his work on simulating modeling analysis, he has also published research on health policy using quasi-experimental and other quantitative methods.
