Yuhua Bao is a professor of population health sciences in the Division of Health Policy & Economics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She specializes in health economics research that aims to align incentives and provider payment in particular, with the delivery of patient-centered care for mental health and substance use conditions. Bao has been a long-time CHERISH investigator and was one of the inaugural recipients of the CHERISH pilot grant. She is strongly committed to mentoring. In her new role as the director of the CHERISH Pilot Grant, Training & Mentoring Core, she will continue to develop training and mentoring initiatives for early-career researchers.
