Alexander Walley

Bio

Alexander Walley is a professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and a general internist and addiction expert at Boston Medical Center. He has conducted multiple studies related to the opioid crisis and the integration of addiction specialty care and general medical care. Walley co-founded the inpatient addiction consult service and bridge clinic at Boston Medical Center and provides HIV primary care and inpatient addiction consultation. He is the medical director at the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
